The Mortal Kombat II Arcade tournament is part of ReGamEx, but you have to register separately for the all-day tournament, the ReGamEx ticket is not valid for the tournament.

The entry fee is 4000 HUF until 9:50, and 5000 HUF after thatThe tournament starts at 10:00
You can register for the very first round of the tournament from 9:00 to 9:50.
Anyone who registers after that will be eliminated from the current round, meaning their chances of reaching the finals are much lower. The arcade machines are set to free play and the practice machines are too, so you don't need to, or can't, insert coins. The competition will take place on original Mortal Kombat II Arcade machines with the original panel.

The competition structure is as follows: The preliminaries will be from 10:00 to 15:30, meaning that almost everyone will compete with everyone, divided into rounds. The competition will take place on two arcade machines. A round is approx. 30-60 minutes long. A match is approx. 5-15 minutes long. There will be a machine draw at the beginning of each round between the participants.Three Rounds (battles) will decide the outcome of the current competition. Each victory is worth 2 points (i.e., for example, in the case of 3:0, 6 points for the winner and zero for the loser; in the case of 2:1, 4 points for the winner and 2 for the loser). The semi-finals will be approx. It will end at 15:30, and after a short technical break, the best six players will advance. From here on, it will be a straight elimination tournament, meaning that whoever loses to the other player will not advance. There will be a separate match for the first 2 places and for 3rd-4th place at the end.

When the tournament starts, a link will be available on the tournament's Facebook event page, from which anyone can see on their mobile phone where they are right now and approximately how many players they still have to wait for their turn.

If someone cannot reach the machine within 5 minutes of being called to the tournament, unfortunately we have to assume that they have given up against the current competitor, meaning they will suffer a 0:3 defeat. If someone arrives after the start of the competition but wants to start the competition, the only disadvantage is that they have to pay a little more for the entry fee and will only be able to earn points after the round they have already entered has started.

Lunch time 13:00-13:30 During this period, the competition is suspended, but you can play on the practice (non-competition) machines.

The final of the competition will be broadcast live with commentary.

The end of the competition is expected between 17:00-18:00. The venue will close on Saturday at 18:00, so the competition will definitely be over by then.

In the event of a machine failure, if the repair time is short, the machine will be repaired on site, if not, the competition will continue on only one machine. If that machine also fails, a backup machine will be set up, but it will have an LCD screen, not a CRT, and will have Mortal Kombat II arcade emulation.

The top three winners of the Mortal Championship will be richer with a special prize designed for this competition.
